Challenge. Connect. Create.

SPHERO: SPRK+

For our younger learners who still have interests in coding, meet Indi!

Zoom into STEAM with Indi—the most approachable entry-level learning robot for ages 4+. Indi inspires imaginative, play-based learning by empowering kids to design and build their own mazes while creating opportunities for students to learn the basics of coding, solve problems, and nurture computational thinking skills.

Visit Sphero for video tutorials and resources. Use this Quick Start guide to see Indi in action and this document for ways to support literacy and math instruction using Indi.

LEGO WeDo Kits

From the LEGO Education Website:

LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set is a hands-on STEM solution that combines the LEGO brick, classroom-friendly software, engaging standards-based projects and a discovery based approach. Designed with collaboration in mind, each Core Set supports two students, introducing them to computational thinking and engineering principles in a fun and engaging way.

WeDo 2.0 encourages students to put those aspects of scientific discovery to work by solving real STEAM problems. Using LEGO® bricks, sensors, and motors, students can use this solution to ignite their creativity, develop critical-thinking skills, explore career possibilities, and simply get hands-on STEAM experience. This set helps make abstract engineering and science concepts concrete, and improves students' collaboration, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills.

The LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 curriculum pack is built on Next Generation Science Standards and delivers key science content to second through fourth grade students.

The curriculum facilitates and supports a clear, easy-to-follow journey through subjects, including: life-, physical-, earth- and space sciences, and engineering. Features projects totaling more than 40 hours of instructional content.
