Featured Databases and Resources for Ecosystem Research

The purpose of World Book Kids is to provide students with access to a searchable database of articles including people, places, animals, art, social issues, science topics, and technology. Articles include multimedia such as videos, sound clips, photos, and maps. Articles are updated regularly.

World Book Student is designed for students in upper elementary and middle school grades. If you start with World Books Kids but are looking to dig deeper into a topic, click on the Student button at the bottom of the screen. 



SIRS Discoverer is a database specifically designed for upper elementary and middle school students. All materials in the database are from reliable, high-quality sources. They include magazine and newspaper articles, websites, and more.



Access Capstone Interactive using the app on your iPad or visiting My Capstone Library through a web browser such as Chrome or Safari. A book on coral reefs and a book on the rain forest can be found by using search box - keywords coral reef or rainforest.
