Created by the Wolverine Foundation, this web site is a great place to help you learn about the life history of the wolverine. Since scientific writing can be difficult to understand, the authors of the site have rewritten much of their wolverine information to make it easier to follow and understand. The bearlike fur of a wolverine helps it survive in cold places. Their body is more like a badger, and the two animals are related. Wolverines hunt alone, walking many miles a day. These carnivores may live in a den with other wolverines. Along with meat, they also eat fruit and crunch on nuts. Although they are smaller, they will fight with wolves or bears over food. This fierce hunter will eat a lot in one meal.
